Hi, I'm Eibhlín, a psychotherapist who specialises in supporting women who experience anxiety. I know firsthand how all-consuming and isolating anxiety can be, and it is this personal journey to wellbeing which inspired me to train the field of counselling/psychotherapy. I now hold a BA (Hons) in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy, and am a pre-accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP).
I have a deep love and passion for learning, so alongside my practice in counselling/psychotherapy, I am also immersed in the world of yoga. Spending time on my yoga mat moving my body supports me in feeling nourished and grounded.
I also find joy and pleasure in nature. I love going for walks on the beach and taking dips in the sea. I can be found doing both all year round.
Do you feel overwhelmed by anxiety? Are you struggling with overthinking, decision-making, self-doubt or just generally feeling stuck in your daily life? Are you fed up of people pleasing, self-sabotage and living from a place of low self-worth? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you’re in the right place. Since starting my journey as a therapist in 2018, I've dedicated myself to supporting women who experience anxiety to break unhelpful patterns of thinking, grow in confidence and enjoy a more fulfilling life.
I am an integrative therapist which means that I am trained to integrate different types of therapy into my approach in a way that meets your specific needs and goals for therapy. My intention is to provide a safe and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thought patterns, beliefs, behaviours and emotions freely. I aim to support you in developing your self-awarenss so that you have access to more choices when it comes to creating positive and lasting change.
Thank you for being here and for taking the time to read my page. Feel free to explore my website further to learn more about my services, my approach, and how I can help you on your journey. If you're ready to begin, contact me below to schedule an appointment.
I am a therapist who specialises in supporting women who experience anxiety. At the core of the work I do is our relationship, which is why building a foundation of safety and trust is our starting point. We explore what brings you to therapy now and get clear on your goals. I make a point of checking in with you regularly to ensure that we are making progress towards your goals, and adjust accordingly.
I offer individual therapy sessions that are designed to meet you where you are. I understand how distressing anxiety can be, so my aim is to honour your experience with the patience and compassion it deserves.
I offer both face-to-face and online individual therapy sessions. This flexibility ensures that you can receive the support you need in a way that is desirable to you.
As an integrative therapist, I am trained to integrate different types of therapy into my approach in a way that meets your specific needs and goals for therapy. The types of therapy I integrate may include Attachment theory (your attachment style in relationship), Mindfulness techniques (your capacity to be present), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) (your thought patterns and behaviours) and Psychodynamic therapy (your past experiences and how they shape you) for examples. This approach enables us to comprehensively explore and address both the symptoms and underlying causes of anxiety.
When there is agitation in the mind in the form of anxiety, there is often accompanying agitation in the body in the form of shallow breathing, elevated heart rate, sweating, upset tummy and tense muscles for examples. If you expand your capacity to be present with what is, without trying to change it, you can access a greater sense of peace and calm within yourself. It becomes less about getting rid of anxiety and more about observing its transience through body awareness. This can be a powerful tool in nervous system regulation and resilience building.
Therapy is a collaborative process between you and I, where we each take responsibility for showing up and working towards realising your goals. This often requires creating change that nudges you out of your comfort zone, a practice that can be challenging yet deeply rewarding. If you're ready to begin, then contact me below to schedule an appointment.

Therapy, also known as counseling or psychotherapy, is a collaborative process between a trained therapist and a client. It provides a safe and confidential space to explore emotions, thoughts, beliefs and behaviors, and to work towards positive change and personal growth.
The duration of therapy varies depending on individual needs and goals. Some clients find relief and realise their goals in a few sessions, while others may benefit from longer-term support. We will discuss your progress regularly to ensure we are meeting your expectations
Therapy provides you the space to become more aware of triggers, thought patterns and beliefs keeping you stuck. It can support you in developing more effective strategies to manage anxiety and improve overall wellbeing.
Finding the right therapist is essential for a successful therapeutic journey. I encourage potential clients to schedule an initial free 15 minute consultation call to discuss your needs, goals, and expectations. This session allows us to determine if we are a good fit and if my approach aligns with your preferences.
The first session is our chance to get to know each other. We'll discuss your reasons for seeking therapy, your goals, and any relevant background information. We'll also review the therapy contract and intake questionnaire.
My fee for therapy sessions is €70 per session. I review my fees annually.
Feel free to get in touch below to arrange a free 15 minute consultation call.
